Important information
- The bus to Aussois will leave from rue de la frise, next to the SCNF station, on the Europole side (follow the Europole exit), near the Starbuck. It will leave at around 5:30pm. In case of problems or delays, contact Victor at +33650566997 to make sure you don't get left behind.
- In the "Planning" section, you will find the latest version of the schedule.
- In the "Documents" section, you can find:
- A downloadable booklet "Booklet.pdf" with the course plan and experimental presentations, the list of posters, and the list of participants. It will be updated gradually until the start of the school.
- A small collection of exercises "Exercises.pdf" that will be distributed to you at the beginning of the school for dedicated sessions. At the beginning, you'll find 'Preliminary Exercises' that you can do to review or catch up on the prerequisites before starting the school courses. This part has the solution in the document "Exercises_corr.pdf" downloadable from the same place.
- Documents that you can browse and/or study before and during the school for each course that will take place this week. These documents will be updated and uploaded gradually until the start of the school.
- Here is a small list of materials you will need:
- Your computer
- A USB stick
- A notebook and pencils for taking notes and for the exercise sessions
- Download the DFT data and isntall the python package for the "Prospecting Topological Materials" Lecture (see documents section on the website)
- Your poster, for those who are presenting one
- Equipment for the excursion: if you want to go hiking, bring shoes, a bag, a water bottle, a hat, sunscreen, etc.
- Your completed preliminary exercises if you dare !!!
- Your best mood, your best smile, and your desire to learn 🙂
- Registration deadline: March 29, 2024
- School dates: Sunday evening, May 26, to Friday, May 31, noon. Free shuttles from Grenoble to the center of Aussois on Sunday and from Aussois to Grenoble on Friday after lunch (see Registration):
- Sunday May 26, 2024, departure from Grenoble train station at 5:30 p.m.
- Friday, May 31, 2024, arrival at Grenoble station at 2:15 p.m.
